When you receive your shipment of Poinsettias, be sure to take them out of the box and gently remove the protective sleeve as soon as possible.
Ideally, Poinsettias require 6 to 8 hours of indirect sunlight each day. If placing in a window, be sure not to let it touch the cold glass.
They do best when kept in cooler temperatures. During the day, they prefer temperatures around 60 - 70° F. If possible, during the night move them to a cooler room, around 55° F. Be sure not to place them next to a heat source or in a cold, drafty location.
Check the soil daily and only water if the soil feels dry to the touch. Remove any decorative pot cover or container before watering and let the soil drain completely. Take care not to over water or let them sit in water-filled saucers or pot covers.
